The focus in cancer research lately has been on identifying genetic mutations driving tumor growth. Despite its potential, targeting these mutations is difficult for various reasons. However, all metastatic cancer cells must divide and migrate, processes that require dramatic changes in the cytoskeleton. Our mission is to develop drugs that prevent tumor growth and metastasis by targeting the cytoskeleton.
